Jersey Road PR is expanding its core services to include content production and influencer engagement, with the appointment of two experienced specialists to the team.

Journalist and content producer Andrew Horton is joining Jersey Road as Head of Content, while publicist Julia Hallawell is its new Influencer and Engagement Manager.

Andrew has more than 20 years’ experience in video, audio and written content production, including in roles for the BBC, Premier Christian Radio, the Christian Medical Fellowship and most recently as online film and news editor for Tearfund.

Julia is a publicist with more than 25 years’ experience working with celebrities and talent across the creative industries, including at Shakespeare’s Globe and the Society of London Theatre.

Lynda Martin, Director of Strategy at Jersey Road PR, said: “These appointments mark an exciting moment for us at Jersey Road PR.

“Julia’s incredibly dynamic and skilled at working with public figures. She will be using her expertise to spearhead our work with social media influencers, celebrities and those with a high profile who can act as ambassadors for our clients, helping them to engage with new audiences and build their profile with the people they really want to reach.”

Charis Gibson, Account Development Director at Jersey Road PR, said: “Both traditional and social media rely heavily on video and audio content, so we’re delighted that Andrew’s bringing his extensive experience as a journalist, producer and digital storyteller on board.

“He will be helping us to tell our clients’ stories even more effectively, amplifying their voice and inspiring more people to get involved with their work.”
